Sujatha Gunnala

About

Dr. Sujatha Gunnala is a reproductive endocrinology and infertility specialist who founded Southwest Fertility Center in Phoenix, Arizona, in 1980, where she now serves as founder and laboratory director. She earned her medical degree in 1972 at Kakatiya Medical College in India, then trained in obstetrics and gynecology at Berkshire Medical Center and the Medical College of Pennsylvania, serving as chief resident. She completed a reproductive endocrinology and infertility fellowship at Albert Einstein Medical Center (Northern Division) and the Medical College of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. She launched the center's IVF program in the late 1980s and is particularly experienced in laser laparoscopy and hysteroscopic surgery for endometriosis, fibroids and related causes of infertility. She is a diplomate of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a fellow of ACOG.
