Southwest Fertility Center

Southwest Fertility Center is an independent, family-run fertility practice in Phoenix, Arizona, founded in 1980 by reproductive endocrinologist Sujatha Gunnala, MD, who also started its IVF program in the late 1980s and serves as lab director. The practice is now carried on with her son, reproductive endocrinologist Vinay Gunnala, MD, who trained at Weill Cornell Medicine, and Nicole Kummer, MD, a former Yale faculty member who completed her fellowship at the University of Connecticut.

The main office is at 3125 N. 32nd Street, Suite 200, in Phoenix, with a satellite office on W. Union Hills Drive in Glendale. Diagnostics, treatment and embryology are handled in-house by one team, supported by nurse practitioners and laboratory staff.

Services include IUI, IVF with or without ICSI, preimplantation genetic testing, donor egg, donor sperm and donated embryo transfer, egg and sperm freezing for fertility preservation, and minimally invasive laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgery. Care is offered in English, Spanish and Polish.
