Steven Palter

Dr. Steven F. Palter is a reproductive endocrinologist and reproductive surgeon who founded Gold Coast IVF in Woodbury, New York, where he serves as medical and scientific director. Before opening the practice in 2001, he was on the faculty at Yale, where he served as clinical chief of reproductive endocrinology and established programs including an advanced endoscopy fellowship and the Yale Oncofertility Program. His clinical and research work centers on infertility and advanced laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgery. He has held leadership roles with professional organizations, including the American Society for Reproductive Medicine board, the AAGL board, and the presidency of the Society of Reproductive Surgeons, and he was the first video and new media editor of Fertility and Sterility.
