George Kofinas

About

Dr. George D. Kofinas is a reproductive endocrinologist who founded Kofinas Fertility Group in New York in 1987 and still serves as its medical director. Before focusing fully on his practice, he chaired the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at The Brooklyn Hospital Center, where he also led the residency program and the reproductive endocrinology and infertility division, and he has also taught as an assistant professor at SUNY in Brooklyn. Dr. Kofinas earned his medical degree from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens in Greece, interned at New York Methodist Hospital, completed his obstetrics and gynecology residency at The Brooklyn Hospital Center, and trained in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at SUNY Downstate Medical Center. He is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and in reproductive endocrinology and infertility.
