George M. Grunert

Dr. George M. Grunert is a reproductive endocrinologist at Aspire Fertility Houston with more than three decades of experience in infertility care. Originally from San Antonio, he studied at Rice University and received his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine. He completed residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the Naval Regional Medical Center in Oakland and a fellowship in reproductive endocrinology at the University of California, San Francisco, and he has served as a Captain in the US Naval Reserve Medical Corps. In 1983 he launched the IVF program at The Woman's Hospital of Texas, which grew into Houston Fertility Specialists. His work has included preimplantation genetic testing, reproductive genetics and embryology, and he has written textbook chapters and many journal articles.

Education
