Dr. Melissa Montes is an obstetrician-gynecologist and minimally invasive gynecologic surgeon at Kofinas Fertility Group in New York, based at the Lower Manhattan office, with more than ten years of experience in fertility care. She has contributed to peer-reviewed research and emphasizes clear explanations so patients understand each stage of treatment. Dr. Montes earned a bachelor's degree in biology from George Washington University, followed by a master's degree in anatomy and her medical degree from Howard University. She completed residency in obstetrics and gynecology at New York Methodist Hospital in Brooklyn. She is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and she is a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine and the Society of Reproductive Surgeons.
