Bruce Shapiro

Dr. Bruce Shapiro is a reproductive endocrinologist who founded The Fertility Center of Las Vegas where he serves as medical director and laboratory director. He completed his obstetrics and gynecology residency at Yale New Haven Hospital and his reproductive endocrinology and infertility fellowship at Yale University, and later earned a PhD from the University of Amsterdam. He is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and reproductive endocrinology. His research has focused on making IVF safer and more effective, including early blastocyst transfer work, extended culture after embryo thawing, and GnRH agonist triggers to reduce the risk of ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome. His clinical interests include women over 40 and patients with reduced ovarian reserve. He also leads the reproductive endocrinology division at the University of Nevada School of Medicine.
