Bruce Pier

About

Dr. Bruce Pier is a reproductive endocrinologist and infertility specialist who serves as a clinical professor and associate fellowship director in the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine's Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke and earned his medical degree from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda. He trained in obstetrics and gynecology at Madigan Army Medical Center in Tacoma, Washington, and completed his reproductive endocrinology and infertility fellowship at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and in reproductive endocrinology and infertility. His research focuses on polycystic ovary syndrome, the safety of fertility treatments, and how environmental pollutants and toxins affect reproductive health.
