C. James Chuong

About

Dr. C. James Chuong is a reproductive endocrinologist who founded the Cooper Institute for Advanced Reproductive Medicine in Houston in 1997 and serves as its medical and laboratory director. He earned his medical degree at National Taiwan University College of Medicine and a Master of Public Health in epidemiology from UCLA. He completed his obstetrics and gynecology residency at the University of Michigan/Henry Ford Hospital and a reproductive endocrinology and infertility fellowship at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. He previously taught at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston and Baylor College of Medicine, where he directed the fellowship program, and led the IVF program of the Cooper Institute in New Jersey. He holds board certification in obstetrics and gynecology and in reproductive endocrinology.
