James D. Kondrup

Dr. James D. Kondrup is a board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist listed with CNY Fertility's Sarasota, Florida office. His work centers on minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, and he has trained other surgeons in these techniques. At Lourdes Hospital he chaired the robotics committee and later the combined minimally invasive surgery committee. With his team he has developed new laparoscopic techniques and a device intended to improve the safety of laparoscopic surgery. His clinical interests include endometriosis, fibroids, pelvic adhesions, and pelvic pain, which he manages with both surgical and non-surgical approaches, along with hereditary cancer screening. He has been evaluating and treating infertility for more than 35 years.
