Daniel Shapiro

Dr. Daniel B. Shapiro is a reproductive endocrinologist at Reproductive Biology Associates (RBA) in Atlanta, where he has practiced since 1995 and currently serves as medical director, seeing patients in Sandy Springs. Originally from Miami, he studied at Bowdoin College and earned his medical degree at Emory University School of Medicine, where a 1987 research project with RBA sparked his interest in reproductive medicine. He then completed fellowship training in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. He is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and in reproductive endocrinology and infertility. His published work includes research on GnRH antagonists in IVF, and he has served as clinical manager of RBA's frozen donor egg bank since it opened in 2007.
