About

Reproductive Biology Associates (RBA) opened in Atlanta in 1983 as Georgia's first IVF program. Over the following decades its team reported a series of early milestones, including the first U.S. pregnancy through ICSI and some of the first births from frozen donor eggs, and it helped develop egg vitrification. RBA is a member of the Prelude Network, now part of Inception Fertility.

The main office and laboratory sit on Johnson Ferry Road in Sandy Springs, with satellite offices at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta, Cumming and Marietta, plus a Canton location added in 2024. The practice lists about eleven physicians and scientists along with nurse practitioners; Zsolt Peter Nagy, PhD, has directed the laboratory since 2002.

Services cover fertility testing, IUI, IVF with ICSI, preimplantation genetic testing, egg and embryo freezing, fertility preservation, male infertility care and PCOS treatment. RBA also runs a frozen donor egg bank founded in 2009, supports gestational carrier cycles, and offers family-building care for LGBTQ+ patients.
