Danielle Lane

Dr. Danielle Lane is a reproductive endocrinology and infertility specialist who founded Lane Fertility Institute in Novato, California, in 2009 and serves as its medical director. Her practice offers IUI, IVF, fertility preservation, preimplantation genetic testing and third-party reproduction, and she cares for patients across Northern California, including LGBTQ+ families. She also founded a donor egg and sperm bank. Dr. Lane earned a B.Sc. in physiology at McGill University and her medical degree at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, then trained in residency at Yale-New Haven Hospital and completed fellowship at the University of California, San Francisco. Before launching her own practice, she opened a reproductive health center for Kaiser Permanente in Napa-Solano in 2005. Her research interests include patient-centered stimulation protocols, egg vitrification for fertility preservation, and ethnic differences in IVF response.
