John Couvaras

About

Dr. John L. Couvaras is a reproductive endocrinologist and the medical director of IVF Phoenix, a fertility practice serving the Scottsdale and Mesa areas of Arizona. He completed a Plan II honors undergraduate degree at the University of Texas at Austin and earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center. He then trained in obstetrics and gynecology through an internship and residency at Baylor College of Medicine, followed by a fellowship in reproductive endocrinology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. He holds board certification in both obstetrics and gynecology and reproductive endocrinology. His clinical work covers the full range of female reproductive medicine and surgery, including operative laparoscopy, hysteroscopy, and microsurgical tubal and pelvic procedures, and he previously led reproductive endocrinology services at Abrazo Scottsdale Hospital.
