Joseph S. Bird III

About

Dr. Joseph S. Bird III is a physician at Fertility Center, where he sees patients at both the Chattanooga and Knoxville, Tennessee, offices and helps them pursue pregnancy and hormonal health goals. Before medicine he studied computer science at Southern Adventist University, and he carried that interest in technology through medical school at Loma Linda University. He completed his obstetrics and gynecology residency at the University of Tennessee College of Medicine Chattanooga, where he worked on improving the electronic medical record to support patient-centered care. After finishing residency in 2023 he began training in fertility medicine at Fertility Center through an apprenticeship with the practice's physicians, including his father, Dr. Joseph S. Bird Jr.
