Fertility Center, LLC

Fertility Center, LLC is an independent, physician-led fertility and hormone practice in eastern Tennessee. It is sometimes called the Fertility Center of Chattanooga and Knoxville. The care team includes Dr. Barry W. Donesky, Dr. Joseph S. Bird Jr. and Dr. Joseph S. Bird III, who joined the practice in 2023, along with nurse practitioners at each office.

The Chattanooga office at 7407 Ziegler Road houses the practice's embryology laboratory, where all egg retrievals and embryo transfers take place. A second office at 10408 Jackson Oaks Way in Knoxville has its own lab for testing and monitoring, and Knoxville patients travel to Chattanooga for IVF procedures.

Services include male and female fertility testing, semen analysis, fertility medications, IUI and IVF, and tubal reversal. The practice runs an egg donation program for both donors and recipients, while patients who need donor sperm are referred to outside sperm banks. Cancer patients can preserve eggs, embryos or sperm. Alongside fertility care, the practice offers gynecology and hormone therapy for women and men, including bioidentical hormone replacement.
