Quillen Fertility & Women's Services

Quillen Fertility & Women's Services is the fertility program of East Tennessee State University's Quillen College of Medicine, now operating under the university's clinical practice, ETSU Health, where it is listed as ETSU Health Fertility & Urogynecology. As an academic practice, it is staffed by faculty of the ETSU Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology; reproductive endocrinologist Mark X. Ransom, MD, a board-certified REI specialist who also serves as the department's residency program director, leads its fertility care.

The clinic is located at 1319 Sunset Drive, Suite 103, in Johnson City, Tennessee, and shares its office with ETSU Health's urogynecology and pelvic reconstructive surgery service. Ballad Health's Johnson City Medical Center describes itself as host to the program, which serves patients from the Tri-Cities area of northeast Tennessee and nearby states.

Services described for the program include intrauterine insemination, in vitro fertilization with ICSI, preimplantation genetic diagnosis, and treatment with donor eggs or donated embryos. Dr. Ransom and his team also perform operative laparoscopy and hysteroscopy, such as hysteroscopic fibroid removal and septum resection, to address structural causes of infertility.
