About

Southeastern Center for Fertility and Reproductive Surgery, known locally as Southeastern Fertility, is an independent fertility practice in the Farragut area of Knoxville, Tennessee. Reproductive endocrinologist Dr. Jeffrey Keenan founded it in the mid-1990s. Dr. John D. Gordon, who previously practiced for about 20 years in Northern Virginia, now owns the practice and serves as its medical director, and Dr. Keenan continues to see patients there.

The clinic is at 11126 Kingston Pike. Local press reported in 2023 that it was building a larger clinic on an adjacent lot.

The practice treats infertility, recurrent pregnancy loss, PCOS and endometriosis, and it offers natural-cycle, minimal-stimulation and conventional IVF along with frozen embryo transfer. It operates as a no-discard facility that does not destroy frozen embryos. The clinic is closely linked to the National Embryo Donation Center, a Knoxville nonprofit that Dr. Keenan founded in 2002. Through that partnership, patients from across the country travel to Knoxville for embryo adoption transfers.
