Dr. Sitara Ravikumar is a physician at Sher Fertility Solutions in New York, where she cares for patients undergoing fertility evaluation and treatment. She studied biological sciences at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, earning a B.S. through the Commonwealth Honors College in 2010, then received her medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin. She completed a four-year obstetrics and gynecology residency at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School in 2019 and spent about five years in general OB-GYN practice in Manhattan, working at Mount Sinai and NYU hospitals and performing minimally invasive and robotic surgery for conditions such as endometriosis and fibroids. A growing interest in infertility led her to join the Sher team, where she emphasizes individualized plans and shared decision-making.
