Sher Fertility Solutions (SFS) is an independent fertility practice founded by Dr. Geoffrey Sher, an IVF pioneer who trained with Patrick Steptoe and Robert Edwards, established one of the first private IVF programs in the U.S. in 1982 and later founded the Sher Institutes for Reproductive Medicine, starting in Las Vegas. Its medical director is reproductive endocrinologist Dr. Drew Tortoriello, who joined from Columbia University Medical Center, and the physician team also includes Dr. Sitara Ravikumar.

The practice is headquartered in Midtown Manhattan at 425 Fifth Avenue and keeps a satellite office in Las Vegas, Nevada.

SFS provides infertility evaluation and treatment, IVF with individualized ovarian stimulation protocols, PGT-A embryo testing, embryo banking, and egg freezing for fertility preservation. The doctors have a long-standing focus on recurrent pregnancy loss and implantation problems, including immunologic implantation dysfunction. Third-party options include donor egg and donor sperm programs, embryo donation and gestational surrogacy, along with family-building care for LGBTQIA+ patients. The practice reports serving patients from many countries, and consultations can be booked directly with individual physicians.
