Norbert Gleicher

About

Dr. Norbert Gleicher is an infertility specialist and reproductive immunologist who founded the Center for Human Reproduction (CHR) and leads it as President, Medical and Laboratory Director, and Chief Scientist in New York City. Raised in Vienna, he began medical school at the Medical University of Vienna and finished it at Tel Aviv University. He then trained in obstetrics and gynecology and in reproductive immunology at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York. He later chaired obstetrics and gynecology at Mount Sinai Hospital in Chicago, where he set up an early IVF program. He has held faculty appointments at several universities, has authored hundreds of peer-reviewed papers, and focuses on women with diminished ovarian reserve and complex infertility. He speaks English, German, Hebrew and Polish.
