Alexa Medica

About

Dr. Alexa Medica is a reproductive medicine specialist at Fertility Specialists Medical Group in San Diego. She received her medical degree from the UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine, then completed residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of California, San Diego, followed by fellowship training in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at UCSD. Her research has examined poor ovarian response to IVF, reproductive aging in adolescent and young adult cancer survivors, and genetic factors in irritable bowel syndrome, with publications in journals including Fertility and Sterility and PLoS One. She is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, and her own experience with infertility informs her personalized approach to care.
