Jun Tao

About

Jun Tao, PhD, is the embryologist who leads the IVF laboratory at Fertility Treatment Center in Tempe, Arizona, where he has worked since 1999. He holds a master's degree in embryology and a Ph.D. in anatomy and endocrinology from Indiana University, and he trained further in the reproductive biology laboratory at Methodist Hospital in Indiana. He is certified by the American Board of Bioanalysis as a high-complexity clinical laboratory director. At FTC he introduced extended embryo culture, designed a patented embryo transfer catheter system, and worked with Dr. H. Randall Craig on compact morula embryo transfer and morula-stage cryopreservation. He is a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine and the American Association of Bioanalysts.
