Dr. Carlos Hernandez-Nieto is a reproductive endocrinology and infertility specialist who serves as Associate Director of Clinical Research at Reproductive Medicine Associates of New York. He received his medical degree from the Autonomous University of San Luis Potosí School of Medicine in Mexico and trained in obstetrics and gynecology at the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education (ITESM) School of Medicine. He holds board certification from the Mexican College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. His professional interests span assisted reproduction, fertility preservation, endometriosis, diminished ovarian reserve, preimplantation genetic testing and reproductive genetics. He has published research in reproductive endocrinology, infertility and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, including studies on euploid embryo potential, progesterone levels during stimulation and carrier screening.
