About
Cooper Institute for Advanced Reproductive Medicine is an independent fertility practice in southwest Houston, also presented online as Houston Fertility Solutions. It was established in 1998 by C. James Chuong, MD, MPH, a board-certified reproductive endocrinologist who has served as both medical director and laboratory director since then. Dr. Chuong previously directed the IVF program at the Cooper Institute in New Jersey, and the Houston practice describes that center, led by Jerome H. Check, MD, as its sister facility. Dr. Botros Rizk has also joined the institute.
The office is at 7500 Beechnut Street, Suite 308, in Houston. The practice focuses on individualized, cost-conscious IVF and has particular experience with women of advanced reproductive age and those with high FSH levels.
Services include conventional and mini IVF, ICSI, testicular sperm extraction, preimplantation genetic testing with family balancing, egg freezing for fertility preservation, donor egg and surrogacy cycles, an egg-sharing program, and care for LGBT individuals and couples. Out-of-town patients can complete most monitoring with local doctors and travel only for key procedures.
