Michigan Reproductive & IVF Center, PC operates under the name The Fertility Center (TFC). Dr. William Dodds founded the practice in 1991 and was joined by Dr. James Young in 1994; after both retired, leadership passed to Dr. Valerie Shavell and Dr. Emma Giuliani, who practice with several other reproductive endocrinologists.

The main office is at 3230 Eagle Park Drive NE in Grand Rapids, with additional offices in Kalamazoo and Mason and outreach to northern Michigan. Embryology work is handled with Ovation Fertility's Grand Rapids IVF laboratory.

TFC treats couples, single people and LGBTQ patients. Care covers female and male fertility testing, timed intercourse, IUI and IVF, with lab techniques such as ICSI, assisted hatching, egg and embryo freezing, and preimplantation genetic testing supported by an in-house reproductive genomics and carrier screening program. Third-party options include donor sperm, donor eggs, embryo donation and gestational carriers. The practice also offers fertility preservation for people facing cancer or delaying parenthood, recurrent pregnancy loss evaluation, surgery, and counseling and support groups.
