About
The Family Fertility Center is the reproductive endocrinology and infertility program of Texas Children's Hospital in Houston. Its physicians are faculty of Baylor College of Medicine and conduct research in reproductive health. The program has treated patients for more than three decades, and Dr. Laura Detti serves as chief of reproductive endocrinology services.
The center is based at Texas Children's Pavilion for Women, 6651 Main Street, in the Texas Medical Center, and also sees patients at the Pavilion for Women obstetrics and gynecology office in Pearland. The team includes four reproductive endocrinologists, a nurse practitioner, a reproductive psychologist, and its own embryology and andrology laboratory staff.
Services include IUI, IVF with ICSI, preimplantation genetic testing, and freezing of eggs, embryos and sperm. The center offers donor eggs, donor sperm, donated embryos and gestational surrogacy. Men can receive evaluation and treatment, including testicular biopsy with Baylor urologists. Fertility preservation is available for patients facing cancer treatment, in partnership with MD Anderson Cancer Center. The center also performs laparoscopic, hysteroscopic and robotic reproductive surgery, and it welcomes same-sex couples and single parents.
