Douglas Austin

About

Dr. Douglas J. Austin is the physician and medical director of The Fertility Center of Oregon in Eugene, where he leads a small team that includes a nurse practitioner, a physician associate, an embryologist and IVF nurse coordinators. He earned his medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York in 1991. All of his postgraduate training took place at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, an affiliate of Harvard Medical School: an internship, residency in obstetrics and gynecology from 1992 to 1995, and fellowship in reproductive endocrinology from 1995 to 1997. He is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and in reproductive endocrinology. He belongs to professional groups including the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists and the Pacific Coast Fertility Society.
