Vishvanath Karande

About

Dr. Vishvanath Karande is a reproductive endocrinologist who serves as President and Medical Director of InVia Fertility Specialists in the Chicago area and directs its IVF program. He completed his obstetrics and gynecology residency at the State University of New York at Buffalo and then trained in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at the Jones Institute for Reproductive Medicine at Eastern Virginia Medical School. He holds board certification in obstetrics and gynecology and in reproductive endocrinology and infertility, and is a Fellow of ACOG. He also performs laparoscopic surgery. A central focus of his practice is lowering the rate of high-order multiple pregnancies by transferring a single embryo in younger patients, and his research has included improving outcomes for women with diminished ovarian reserve.
