About

Reproductive Medicine Institute (RMI) is an independent Chicago-area fertility practice formed in 2008 when two established local groups, Oak Brook Fertility and the Rinehart Center for Reproductive Medicine, merged. Its president and medical director is Dr. Elena Trukhacheva, and its physicians are board-certified in both obstetrics and gynecology and reproductive endocrinology and infertility.

The Oak Brook office, one of the practice's original bases, is at 2425 W. 22nd Street in Oak Brook, about 19 miles west of downtown Chicago; RMI also sees patients in Chicago, Naperville and Skokie. Services include IUI, IVF, preimplantation genetic testing for aneuploidy and single-gene disorders, egg freezing and fertility preservation, recurrent pregnancy loss care, male factor evaluation, and minimally invasive reproductive surgery. Its third-party program covers donor eggs, donor sperm, embryo donation and gestational surrogacy, with services for LGBT patients and single parents.

RMI runs an international patient service, and staff speak Spanish, Polish, Arabic, Russian and Urdu.
