Lauren Rouleau

Dr. Lauren Rouleau is a reproductive endocrinologist and infertility specialist at Piedmont Reproductive Endocrinology Group (PREG). She earned both an MD and a PhD in biochemistry and molecular pharmacology at Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, then completed her obstetrics and gynecology residency at Emory University. Her fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility was at the Medical College of Georgia, where her research examined the role of estrogen receptor beta in unexplained infertility. She has published and presented work on ovarian aging, polycystic ovary syndrome and the molecular basis of infertility, and has written a book chapter on fertility care for women over 40. She emphasizes clear communication and shared decision-making with patients.
