About

Coastal Fertility Specialists is an independent reproductive medicine practice in the South Carolina Lowcountry. It was founded in 2012 by Dr. John Schnorr and Dr. Michael Slowey after both left Southeastern Fertility Center. Dr. Schnorr serves as medical director and has also led the reproductive endocrinology division at the Medical University of South Carolina. The physician team has since grown to about five reproductive endocrinologists.

The main office is at 1375 Hospital Drive in Mount Pleasant, near Charleston. The practice has expanded to offices in Summerville (Nexton), Columbia, Myrtle Beach and Savannah, Georgia.

Coastal provides infertility evaluation, ovulation induction and IUI, IVF with ICSI and assisted hatching, and preimplantation genetic testing. It also offers egg freezing, cryopreservation of embryos and sperm, andrology services, donor-egg treatment and IVF cycles for gestational carriers. Tubal ligation reversal is available as well.
