Alexis Karstaedt

Dr. Alexis Karstaedt is a fertility lifestyle counselor at IVFMD, where she sees patients at the Cooper City office. She completed her medical degree (MBBCh) and training, including a residency in family therapy, in South Africa, and later studied medical weight management and nutrition. She is licensed to practice medicine in New York and Florida. Earlier in her career she worked in the ovum donation program at the Mount Sinai IVF clinic and as an assistant research professor in psychiatry at Mount Sinai Hospital, and she joined IVFMD's third-party reproduction services in 1998. Her current work focuses on helping fertility patients support their treatment through nutrition, exercise and other lifestyle changes. She is not a reproductive endocrinologist.
