F.I.R.S.T., Florida Institute for Reproductive Sciences and Technologies

F.I.R.S.T., the Florida Institute for Reproductive Sciences and Technologies, is an independent fertility practice founded in 1998 by reproductive endocrinologist Minna R. Selub, MD, who previously directed the assisted reproduction program at the University of Miami School of Medicine. Dr. Selub remains medical director, and the practice is organized so that each patient is cared for by her directly.

The clinic is located at 2300 N. Commerce Parkway in Weston, in western Broward County, and runs its own andrology and embryology services, where ICSI has been used for roughly two decades.

Treatment options include IUI, IVF with ICSI, surgical sperm retrieval (MESA and TESE), preimplantation genetic testing, egg freezing and other fertility preservation, and sperm freezing. The third-party reproduction program offers donor eggs from in-house or agency donors, donor sperm and surrogacy coordination. Family-building services for LGBTQ patients include reciprocal IVF. Dr. Selub speaks English and Spanish.
