Samuel Wood

About

Dr. Samuel Wood is a reproductive endocrinologist and the president and director of fertility services at Gen 5 Fertility Center in San Diego, California, with more than 30 years of clinical experience and a particular interest in reproductive genetics. Beyond his medical degree, he holds a master's degree in psychology, a PhD in biochemistry and molecular biophysics, and an MBA. He completed his obstetrics and gynecology residency at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and his reproductive endocrinology and infertility fellowship at the University of California, San Diego. He is board certified in both obstetrics and gynecology and reproductive endocrinology and infertility, and is also certified by the American Board of Bioanalysis as a high-complexity laboratory director. His recent research explores intraovarian platelet-derived therapies.
