Sara Gilbert

Dr. Sara Gilbert (listed by Kaiser as Sara Ann Gilbert) is a reproductive endocrinology and infertility specialist with the Kaiser Permanente Center for Reproductive Health team at Sacramento Medical Center. She grew up in rural Wyoming, earned her B.S. at the University of Wyoming, where work in an embryology laboratory sparked her interest in reproduction, and later gained clinical experience with a reproductive endocrinologist in Mississippi. She received her medical degree from the University of Minnesota and completed residency and her REI fellowship at the University of Colorado, where her research examined how a high-fat diet affects fertility. She treats infertility, endocrine disorders, and Müllerian anomalies, offers fertility preservation for medical or personal reasons, and performs surgery when needed. She is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and in REI.
