Spring Fertility-East Bay

Spring Fertility East Bay is the Oakland clinic of Spring Fertility, a physician-led practice founded in San Francisco in 2016 by reproductive endocrinologists Peter Klatsky, MD, MPH, and Nam Tran, MD, PhD. Spring has since grown to offices across Northern California, New York, Oregon and Colorado.

The Oakland office occupies the third floor of 80 Grand Avenue, about a block from Lake Merritt. It has its own embryology laboratory and surgery center, so consultations, monitoring, egg retrievals and embryo transfers can all happen in the same building. The clinic's physicians include Dr. Debra Minjarez, who was chosen to lead the practice when it opened, along with Dr. Serena Dovey, Dr. Srini Reddy and Dr. Brett Stark.

Treatments offered include IVF, IUI, egg and embryo freezing, genetic testing with genetic counseling, donor egg and donor sperm cycles (donor eggs and embryos come through Spring's Nest Donor Bank), and IVF for gestational carrier arrangements. The clinic also provides family-building care for LGBTQ+ patients, along with support groups and fertility wellness counseling. Spring's website is available in English and Spanish.
