About
RMA Long Island IVF traces its roots to Long Island IVF, a practice established in 1988 that reported Long Island's first IVF birth and first frozen-embryo birth in 1989 and its first donor-egg birth in 1994. In 2019 it joined Reproductive Medicine Associates of New York, the IVF center of the Mount Sinai Health System, to form RMA Long Island IVF. The practice now presents itself as RMA of New York – Long Island.
The Melville office at 8 Corporate Center Drive, Suite 101, houses the practice's full-service IVF laboratory, so egg retrievals and embryo transfers are performed on site. It anchors a network of six Long Island offices, and a physician team led by reproductive endocrinologists such as Beth McAvey and Daniel Kenigsberg.
Services include fertility testing for women and men, IUI, IVF with genetic testing, egg and sperm donation, gestational surrogacy, egg, sperm and embryo freezing, oncofertility, reciprocal IVF and family building for LGBTQ+ patients and single parents. IVF under rabbinical supervision is available for observant Jewish patients.
