GREFI, Gynecology, Reproductive Endocrinology & Fertility Institute

GREFI (Gynecology, Reproductive Endocrinology & Fertility Institute) is a private fertility practice in Puerto Rico founded in 1991 by Rosa Ileana Cruz Burgos, MD, who continues to lead it. Dr. Cruz graduated from the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine, trained in obstetrics and gynecology, and completed a fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at Rutgers Medical School in New Jersey.

The main office is in the First Bank Building at 1519 Ponce de León Avenue in Santurce, San Juan. Directory listings also show a second office in Coto Laurel, Ponce, serving patients in southern Puerto Rico.

Listed services include IUI, IVF with ICSI, preimplantation genetic testing, egg and embryo freezing, donor egg and donor sperm treatment, and gestational carrier cycles, as well as laparoscopic reproductive surgery and treatment of endometriosis and fibroids. The clinic is an affiliate of the MyEggBank frozen donor egg network.
