Dr. Rosa Ileana Cruz (Cruz Burgos) is a gynecologist and reproductive endocrinology and infertility subspecialist in San Juan, Puerto Rico, with more than three decades of experience in assisted reproduction. She is reported to have founded GREFI, the Gynecology, Reproductive Endocrinology & Fertility Institute, in 1991, with offices in San Juan and Coto Laurel near Ponce. Directory sources state that she graduated from the University of Puerto Rico Medical Sciences Campus in 1980, completed obstetrics and gynecology training in 1984, and then trained in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at Rutgers Medical School in New Jersey. Her practice offers IVF, ICSI, intrauterine insemination, egg, embryo and sperm freezing, and donor egg and donor sperm treatment.
