California Center for Reproductive Medicine

The California Center for Reproductive Medicine (CACRM) is an independent fertility practice in Encinitas, in north San Diego County. It was founded by Lori L. Arnold, MD, a board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist who completed her reproductive endocrinology fellowship at Georgetown University, and she continues to lead it as medical director. The clinic says it has been treating patients for roughly 25 years.

CACRM is at 477 N. El Camino Real, Suite C310, about 20 miles north of downtown San Diego. The center has its own embryology and andrology laboratories, which are CAP and CLIA accredited, and an AAAASF-accredited surgical suite, so treatment and procedures can be done on site.

CACRM offers IVF with ICSI and blastocyst transfer, PGT-A and PGT-M, fertility preservation and donor egg treatment. A distinctive feature is its physician-directed surrogacy program, which recruits and screens gestational carriers in-house, so the clinic serves as its own surrogacy program and egg donor program. It welcomes patients regardless of marital status or sexual orientation and has a large international caseload. Coordinators speak Spanish, French, Italian, German and Chinese, and new patients can start with virtual consultations.
