Ashim Kumar

Dr. Ashim Kumar is a reproductive endocrinologist at Western Fertility Institute in Encino, in the Los Angeles area. He received his medical education and completed his obstetrics and gynecology residency at Emory University in Atlanta, then trained in reproductive endocrinology and infertility through a combined fellowship at the University of California, Los Angeles and Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. He is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and in reproductive endocrinology and infertility. In recent years his practice has concentrated on third-party reproduction with egg donors and gestational surrogates, and many of his patients travel from abroad. His other interests include PCOS, tubal disease, and male factor infertility, and he has written journal articles and textbook chapters on tubal infertility and ovarian function. He also works with LGBTQ+ patients building families.
