Jennifer Hirshfeld-Cytron

Dr. Jennifer Hirshfeld-Cytron is a reproductive endocrinologist with Fertility Centers of Illinois, seeing patients at the practice's Chicago office on Kingsbury (the River North IVF Center) and in Glenview. She is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and in reproductive endocrinology and infertility, and has practiced medicine since 2004. She earned her medical degree at the University of Minnesota, completed her internship and residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Chicago, and finished a three-year REI fellowship at Northwestern University, where she also earned a master's degree in clinical research. Her main professional interest is fertility preservation, both for women whose medical treatment may harm ovarian function and for those postponing pregnancy, and she has published on this topic and on the costs of fertility treatment.
