Viji Sundaram

About

Dr. Viji Sundaram is a reproductive endocrinologist with the Florida Institute for Reproductive Medicine in Jacksonville, Florida, and is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and in reproductive endocrinology and infertility. Raised in Georgia, she studied biomedical engineering at Georgia Tech and taught high school math and science with Teach for America before medical school. She earned her medical degree and completed her OB/GYN residency at the Medical College of Georgia, then did her fellowship at the University of California, San Francisco. She later practiced at Kaiser Permanente San Francisco, where she helped open an IVF center and directed resident teaching in fertility. Her interests include fertility preservation for transgender patients, LGBTQ family building, access to care and Asherman syndrome. She speaks English and Tamil.
