Marcelle Cedars

About

Dr. Marcelle Cedars is a reproductive endocrinologist and professor at UCSF who serves as director of the UCSF Center for Reproductive Health at Mission Bay in San Francisco. She also leads the university's division of reproductive endocrinology, where she works to connect laboratory and clinical research with individualized patient care. Her clinical work centers on in vitro fertilization, polycystic ovary syndrome, perimenopause, recurrent pregnancy loss and endometriosis, and her research examines ovarian aging and its effects on fertility and on women's broader health. She earned her medical degree at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School, trained in obstetrics and gynecology at Parkland Health & Hospital System, and completed a reproductive endocrinology fellowship at UCLA. She holds board certification in both obstetrics and gynecology and reproductive endocrinology and infertility.
