Nam Tran

About

Dr. Nam D. Tran is a reproductive endocrinologist and physician-scientist at Spring Fertility, seeing patients at its San Francisco and Silicon Valley locations. He studied at the University of California, Irvine, earned a PhD at the University of Nevada, Reno and his medical degree at the University of Iowa, and then completed both his obstetrics and gynecology residency and his reproductive endocrinology fellowship at UCSF. He later joined the UCSF faculty as an assistant professor and led research at its Center for Regenerative Medicine on ovarian insufficiency, endometriosis and stem cells, including work on using sperm stem cells to treat male infertility. He is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and in reproductive endocrinology and infertility, with clinical interests in diminished ovarian reserve, ovarian failure, endometriosis, implantation and male infertility.
