Banafsheh Kashani

About

Dr. Banafsheh (Bana) Kashani is a reproductive endocrinologist and co-founder of South Coast Fertility Specialists in Aliso Viejo, California, which grew out of the private fertility practice she opened in Orange County in 2020. She is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and in reproductive endocrinology and infertility. She earned a B.S. in biological sciences at the University of California, Irvine and her medical degree at the University of South Alabama College of Medicine. She then completed an OB-GYN residency at USC and a reproductive endocrinology and infertility fellowship at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. Earlier she practiced at Kaiser Permanente in Orange County and at Eden Centers for Advanced Fertility. Her research has addressed endometrial function, implantation, fertility preservation, fibroids, PCOS and frozen embryo transfer outcomes. She speaks English, Farsi and Spanish.
