About
The UCLA Fertility and Reproductive Health Center is the academic fertility program of UCLA Health's Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. All of its physicians are board-certified reproductive endocrinologists on the UCLA faculty, currently including Drs. Zain Al-Safi, Kathleen Brennan, Lindsay Kroener and Robert Roman, and the team also conducts clinical research and trials.
Patients are seen in Westwood and in Santa Monica, where the center moved into a dedicated fertility-only space at 1245 16th Street, Suite 202, across from UCLA Santa Monica Medical Center. Being part of a university health system allows coordination with maternal-fetal medicine, oncology and the Men's Clinic at UCLA for male fertility evaluation.
Services cover fertility testing, ovarian stimulation with or without IUI, IVF with ICSI, preimplantation genetic testing (PGT-A and PGT-M) with genetic counseling, donor eggs and sperm, and gestational-carrier cycles. The center freezes eggs, sperm and embryos for elective and medical fertility preservation, including oncofertility for cancer patients and preservation for transgender patients, and also treats recurrent pregnancy loss, offers reproductive surgery and supports LGBTQ+ family building.
