Nova In Vitro Fertilization (Nova IVF) has served patients in the San Francisco Bay Area since 1987 from its base in Mountain View, California. Longtime medical and laboratory program director Dr. Richard J. Schmidt, now retired, helped lead the practice for many years. In May 2023 Nova IVF was acquired by Ivy Fertility, a San Diego-based network of fertility practices, and it continues to operate under its own name.

The clinic and its full-service embryology laboratory are located together at 2500 Hospital Drive, Building 7, in Mountain View. Current physicians include reproductive endocrinologists Dr. Meera Shah and Dr. Anna Sokalska.

Services include conventional IVF and a lower-stimulation "gentle IVF" option, IUI, embryo genetic testing, egg freezing, evaluation of male infertility and care for recurrent pregnancy loss. The practice supports LGBTQ+ family building and coordinates egg donor and gestational surrogacy cycles.
