About

Northwell Health Fertility is the reproductive medicine service of Northwell Health, New York's largest health system. Its roots go back to 1983, when North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset launched the first in vitro fertilization program in New York State; the service has since grown into a multi-site program across Long Island and Manhattan.

The Manhasset location sits at 300 Community Drive on the North Shore University Hospital campus, and the building also houses a state-licensed embryology laboratory. Patients are seen by a team of board-certified reproductive endocrinologists who also practice at Northwell's other fertility offices, and care is coordinated with the hospital's obstetric, oncology and genetics services.

Treatment options include fertility evaluation, ovulation induction and intrauterine insemination, IVF with ICSI, preimplantation genetic testing, and egg and embryo freezing. The program also offers fertility preservation for patients facing cancer treatment, third-party reproduction with donor eggs, donor sperm and gestational carriers, and family-building pathways for LGBTQ+ patients and single parents.
